Perfect place to relax and get away from it all, but close enough to activities to keep you busy if you prefer. We loved the view from the decks and hot tubs ... The road up is steep but perfectly accessible in a regular vehicle ... And without driving up the mountain you would not have the amazing views! Hosts are lovely to work with. House is well stocked with everything you need (although if you plan to cook, you might want to bring some storage containers, foil, etc.) We are sad to leave and would definitely return! This cabin is so pretty with a view so gorgeous you might not want to leave to go do anything. The beds are all very comfortable. The furnishings so unique and fun to look at. The kitchen very well stocked and updated. The deck below is very large with enough room to have a party of 20 if you wanted. There is a gas grill and a great hot tub with a view. I loved watching the hummingbirds dart through the treetops. We rented a pontoon boat from Blue Ridge Marina. The kids and I went tubing and had a nice lunch at the Marina. Hiking galore. Just a wonderful and relaxing vacation. We loved to cook dinner in and sit at the dining room and talk and look out the windows after a long hike day. We did eat at Masseria, The Fry Shop, and Southern Charm. All were excellent and I highly recommend! I think I had the the best pizza ever at Masseria. Happy trails! I promise you won't be disappointed.

Loved the view. The cabin had all the essentials we needed! The road was steep for our trans am but we managed. The humming birds were so fun. We had 8-10 at any given time fighting for the feeders. Very fun and relaxing!! Thanks to the owners for sharing their cabin. Trip of a lifetime!

My wife and I were looking for a place to take a long weekend before the summer came to an end. I heard good things about Blue Ridge, GA and decided to give it a shot. Somehow we ended up in a fantastic cabin with an unbelievable view of Lake Blue Ridge. Our family of four enjoyed this cabin for four days. Sitting near the top of a mountain we felt very secluded and removed from everyday life (exactly what we needed), but it was only a few minutes outside of town. It was very clean and tastefully decorated. Plenty of space inside for the family to spread out and do their own thing. Lots of board and card games to cover those rainy days. But the majority of our time was spent on the large back deck in one of the gliders. The view off the back deck is absolutely breathtaking. It is one of the first things you see when you enter the cabin and kept us mesmerized the entire stay. Words and pictures cant really do justice to this incredible view. It is like a beautiful painting of the lake. Only in motion. Blue Ridge is a quaint little town with plenty of local shops and restaurants. There is a train that can take you on an hour long, scenic ride to a town on the Tenn border. There is also river rafting, tubing, and zip lines within a few miles. We never ran out of things to do. I highly recommend this cabin. It is definitely one of our favorites and we will be making a return visit!

We really enjoyed the view and cabin. The cabin was decorated beautifully. The view was even more beautiful. It had one bedroom on the main floor which was perfect for my 82 year old mom. Upstairs there was a bedroom, bathroom and loft with beds . Everything else was on the main floor. The road up was one lane and fairly steep but it is paved and and we did not meet any other drivers during our stay. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed to make dinners. The view made you think you were on vacation somewhere far away. How amazing to have such a nice cabin with that view in Blue Ridge. Downtown Blue Ridge has come a long way. Lots of cute stores and some good restaurants. It takes little time to get downtown from the well located cabin . The owner is very nice and helpful. Thank you for sharing this jewel with us.

The cabin was everything you expect for a relaxing luxury quite get away. The cabin was very well provisioned from bedding to kitchen. Very comfortable and a great location for day trips to see the beautiful waterfalls to shopping in unique shops and restaurants in Blue Ridge and surrounding areas. The road up to the cabin is quiet an adventure but well paved. Can't wait to visit again.

The home is perfect the only drawback if I were to say one is the road up it is one lane very curvy and has one blind spot put your car in 2nd when going up and hope for the best. Once in the house your all set everything you need is there. If your a night person this road at night can be something we once had to back down to a driveway because another car was coming from other direction it was backup or go over edge of road. House excellent, road not so much. Still worth renting.

We spent a week on our honeymoon at the cottage. Beautiful place, incredible views, sitting on the deck was an experience in pure solitude. If you want a beautiful place, well kept, and peaceful, you MUST check it out! We're already evaluating our schedules to return next year! The owner was wonderful, quick to communicate and provided some excellent recommendations of special places to visit. Can't say enough good things! Room for a large family or multiple couples with 3 decks (1 small, 1 medium and 1large!). From watching the stars from the hot tub to the hummingbirds feed 6 feet from your nose on the middle deck will captive you completely. Only suggestion? Take all the food you'll need the first time. You will NOT want to leave.

We were looking for a private mountain retreat where we could spend time reconnecting with our children who live internationally. This home was a perfect setting for our family Christmas. Plenty of space, yet a cozy cabin feel. Spacious kitchen counter that was perfect for many hands helping to bake Christmas treats. Views were magnificent and ever-changing based on the weather. Proximity to Blue Ridge is great for the occasional attack of cabin fever. Overall, a wonderful home offering many amenities that made for a wonderful family get away.

This cabin was so cozy and warm, we felt right at home the moment we walked in. The upstairs bedroom had screens you could close over the French doors so you could sleep with the doors open. It was extremely clean. The views were amazing. We spent most of our time on the porch in the rocking chairs looking out over the lake and mountains. Barbara was extremely helpful and responsive.

We are so grateful for our time in Blue Ridge. This cabin is within 10 minutes of downtown but high enough up to have the best view we've ever enjoyed in Blue Ridge. The home was comfortable and exceptionally clean. The homeowners could not have been kinder and more helpful with us. It does sleep a number of persons but only awareness is that there is a queen and 2 twins in the open loft area. However, there are 2 bedrooms with comfortable queen beds. The "family room" with fireplace is large and full of windows so as to enjoy the view. Truly beautiful! Thank you for the pleasure! We hope to return!

Cabin is as described and view is even better. Hot tub was enjoyed by the whole family. Owners are responsive to questions. This is definitely one of the nicer cabins. It is beautifully decorated and when you first walk in, you will immediately know a good vrbo decision was made. My husband didn't want me to submit a review, because he is afraid it will get rented when he wants to go back. Late June rental.

I can't say enough good things about our stay. Accommodations were beautiful with breathtaking mountain views, especially in the morning. Loved sitting on the back deck with a cup of coffee. This property is very close to the town. I have already recommended this property to friends. Ideal for 2 families with 2 children (not too young there are stairs) a piece.

Had a wonderful time at the Lake View Cabin. The cabin was lovely, beds were awesomely comfortable and the view was amazing. The view is even better than the picture shows. Watching the sunset and sunrise from our balcony was beautiful! The road up was a bit scary for me (very narrow and winding). You are definitely on the top of the mountain! The only suggestion I could make would be to use fabric softener when washing the towels. There were a bit rough feeling. But overall the trip was excellent! If views are what you are looking for, this is the place for you!

The cabin was great....no surprises except for positives ones! The weather was great every day which really made the view spectacular. The road up is not for the faint hearted....but very manageable, drive slow! Very close to town and grocery stores, etc. (Ingles was the best grocery store!) Close to hiking trails, (loved ASKA) Lake Blue Ridge and all surrounding towns very close. We'll go back!
