The name "Peaceful Retreat" does not begin to do this cabin justice. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath, log cabin sits near the top of Cherry Log Mountain and has a seasonal mountain view. You will enjoy nature at its best from the screened in porch. There is an abundance of wild life that can be seen around the cabin. You can go hiking from the back door of the cabin, enjoy the near by ponds or simply rock your cares away from the back deck. The master suite has a king size bed, it also has french doors that lead onto the deck, and its private bath. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, and the third bedroom has two twin beds. You can snuggle up in front of the warmth of the wood burning fire place, enjoy cable TV/VCR/DVD with surround sound, fully equipped kitchen and gas grill for your outdoor cooking. This cozy cabin is ideal for a romantic retreat, yet spacious enough for family or friends to have some well deserved relaxation. 6 person max and no pets please! Nearby attractions include hiking the beautiful trails of North Georgia, biking, Antique Shopping, White Water Rafting, Horseback Riding, Scenic Train Rides and the famous Swan Drive In. All of our cabins include linens, dishes, pots, pans, towels, washclothes, etc... We will provide an initial supply of guest soaps, toliet paper, dishwasher detergent, paper towels and trash bags. We suggest that you bring your supplies for an extended stay of paper towels, trash bags, charcoal (if needed for grill - gas grills have tanks), starter logs for wood burning fireplaces and washing powders.
